Stand for Marriage Maine announced on July 8th that they have collected more than the 55,087 signatures needed to put the newly passed marriage equality law up for a vote this November. They have also hired Schubert Flint Public Affairs, the same firm that led the "Yes on 8" campaign in California and are outspending us by 2 to 1.
